RISE: Reaching Independence Through Social Engagement
Our RISE Day Program is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities achieve independence by providing opportunities for social engagement. Through this program, participants can build confidence, make new friends, and gain experiences by engaging in a variety of activities and visiting different locations.
Our monthly calendars are created by participants in collaboration with Willows Way staff members. The activities offered include social, educational, and physical options. In addition, our program provides opportunities for members to volunteer, connect with the community, explore local tourist attractions, and attend exciting events in St. Charles and St. Louis.
What are some examples of discussion topics and activities?
Aerobics, Yoga, Zumba, and Other Physical Activities
Daily Living Skills to Increase Independence
Various Discussions from Geography to Cultural Studies
Art Activities, including Painting, Drawing, and Various Craft Projects.

- Reside in the Greater St. Charles or St. Louis regions.
- Eligible for services from the Department of Mental Health (DMH).
